Busulmona
We arrived in Val di Noto 30 years ago.
One look was enough to fall in love with this part of Sicily rich in history, culture and beauty. Here we made a home and, piece by piece, we built our farm: surrounded by centuries-old olive trees, today Busulmona is an oasis of greenery immersed in the hills of the Val di Noto where olive groves, almond groves, carob groves and citrus groves alternate.
We practice agriculture as a space for dialogue between nature and man, where everyone can be useful and take care of the other, respecting their rhythms and entrusting them with secrets.
Here we produce oil, almonds and preserves.
Here we welcome friends and guests in the old millstone from the late nineteenth century, completely renovated, respecting its history and character.
We are in the countryside near Noto, a UNESCO heritage site for its Baroque and breathtaking landscapes. A few kilometers away you will find the beaches of Eloro, Vendicari, Marzamemi, Portopalo di Capo Passero. We are also close to the places of Montalbano: Modica, Ragusa, Scicli are easily reachable.
A few kilometers away is the Vendicari nature reserve: in front of the entrance to the reserve we bring our products and our hospitality with Dalla Terra Bistrot; here you can enjoy the typical Sicilian breakfast with granita and brioche, our aperitifs, real tasting itineraries, up to the Sicilian sandwiches with preserves made of tuna, vegetables, caponata, olives, almonds.
